The return of Sooty

Well, after a long seven years since his last TV series, Sooty is back with an all-new series starting on Monday 5th September on the CITV Channel. It will run on weekdays at 10:10am and 1:25pm, as part of the Mini CITV strand. The new series sees the return of Sooty, Sweep, Soo and host Richard Cadell living on a holiday camp due to Richard getting a job as the caretaker.

Personally, I was quite surprised to find out that the new series is airing as part of the pre-school slot.

So what does everyone else think to the new series coming soon to our screens? I personally can't wait! ;D

I think it's great that Soooty is returning and that Richard will also be returning with the gang - wouldn't be the same if Sooty had a new owner!

I can understand it being part of the pre-school slot seeing as it's not aimed at our age range anymore (something that 90's Art Attack fans can't accept!), however I think the time slots are a bit stupid. Sometime after three would be more suitable IMO.

I'm quite pleased to see Sooty is back also, and that it'll be a whole lot better than the awful series by HIT Entertainment from 2001-2004.
