I remember a show from the early 2000's

It was about a boy who had this action figure type toy and it came to life, it was done with CGI though. It was a girl with blue spikey hair and was quite tomboyish, looked a bit futuristic too!

I remember in one episode the toy destroying his sisters homework :L

I think the show your talking about is "Little Big Mouth" (2001) but it wasn't about a toy, it was about a little alien. Which was voiced by Jane Horrocks.

The alien fits your description, it had spikey hair and was tomboyish, it only lasted one series. I haven't thought about that show for years until today.

Well the reason I thought a toy is sometimes she would stay still or something when someone else was in the room. I remember a toddler picking her up thinking it was a toy in a supermarket or something.
