I was wondering if anyone had any CITV recordings from the 1993 - 1998 era of CITV. Because I am trying to collect some. I will supply blank discs and postage or I can trade something in return  But I will not pay money at all, except for covering postage costs! Any helpers? |

I too would love to have some old VHS recordings, I wish I'd recorded some back in the day, but sadly I didn't.  There is an easier option, you can always install RealPlayer SP Plus. You can then download any CITV video off YouTube, which will then go directly into your library on RealPlayer. From there you can burn it on to a DVD. You could cram a whole afternoons worth on there if you wanted. I hope I've been of some help. |

Yeah I know all about that, the thing is, youtube videos are not really the best quality for viewing on your TV!

I have a box full of old VHS tapes from the 90's, and alot of them are old recordings of CITV from 1996/1997/1998 during the Steve Ryde era, and a number from, I think, 2000, as well as dozens of old BBC1/2/cbbc recordings.
I have a video to DVD device which I have not managed to get working yet. Whenever I do, I might be able to copy a whole tape of requested footage onto DVD, or onto a real media or wmv file. I'd rather keep the original tape though, if I ever need to use it again.

Oh please do keep the original tapes, it's what I do and besides they'd be a nightmare to post  But I am very interested i'm looking for afternoons of shows from that era, or single programmes, whatever, basically if it's CITV and it's that era, I'll have it ;D Keep me updated on whether you have any luck finding anything and we'll work out something, I don't mind it being sent as a file or on a DVD disc Much appreciated! |

That's brilliant, The stuff I like The stuff i'm looking for the most is Zzzap! Art Attack Sooty and co Fun House (1989 - 1995 episodes) Finders keepers Crazy cottage Mike and Angelo But any 1990's CITV footage will do anything at all, whether it be a full afternoon, part of an afternoon or a single programme or something |

Well, it's been quite a while, but I did yesterday come across one old tape full of CITV recordings from that era, mainly consisting of Wizadora, The Riddlers, Old bear stories, a number of episodes of Art Attack and an episode of Sooty and Co, as well as other programmes.
As well as that, there is some old ad's to watch out for, and a number of Childrens BBC junctions. I have a feeling all of this tape was recorded in 1995.

Hey there, I'm looking for episodes of Sooty Show and Sooty & Co recorded off CITV! I have all the official VHS and DVD's, so only need TV recorded eps now! xwing123456, do you know which episode you have of Sooty & Co? If it's one I need, would you consider making me a copy of it? |
