Beacause Southern didn't exist in 1983 when CITV started
and Rosie and Jim was made by central, it began in 1990.

No it was originally a Ragdoll Production for Central
Carlton wasn't even a TV franchise in 1990.
Carlton produced the 1998-2000 episodes I believe.
