What was the first CITV saturday morning show you watched?
My first was Scratchy and co with the late, great Mark Speight.
Does anyone remember the opening titles where Scratchy and reg throw paint up a wall? (but in reverse, so they're taking it off) and it reveals the scratchy and co logo.

My first saturday morning programme that I remember watching was the great SM:TV Live! One of ITV's most successful saturday morning programme 'EVAR!'. I probably watched some of the ones before, but I don't remember them.

Well Scratchy and co, mashed and Tricky were on just before SM:TV live
Mashed I remember vaguely and wasn't brilliant.
and I never seen Tricky but found a clip and it was AWFUL!. Tricky was an animated dragon, with a very irritating voice, no wonder it only lasted a few weeks!
But yes your indeed right, SM:TV live was brilliant and the best CITV saturday morning show.
of course before CITV that crown goes to Tiswas.

The earliest i can remember was Gimme 5, presented by Jenny Powell.
From what i remember there was this sort of geeky man with glasses and big teeth that went about with cheerios stuck to his face and would help himself to one now and again :L
I also remember the animated viewer phone in game which involved Taz, each week with a different challenge (Train tracks, driving round a cliff)

The earliest Saturday morning show I remember was Number 73 - the things I remember most were the episodes of Telebugs they had during the show, and the musical guest of the week playing their latest song in the basement, with the whole cast and audience dancing as the end credits played.

My first saturday show was What's Up Doc, I was a fan of "Bro and Bro". You wouldn't be able to have a show like that now where puppet Wolves kidnap and then eat kids. ;D
Telegantic Megavision was another one that I watched, I only ever used to see the beginning of them to be honest. I'd always end up going shopping with my Mum and then they'd be finished by the time I got back. LOL SM:TV Live was the last great Saturday show, it catered for all age groups. Who could ever forget "Chums", "F'art Attack" hosted by Neil Pumpcannon, "Splattoon" and "Dec Says".

You're slightly wrong there about Bro and Bro, because the same puppeteers did Scratch and Sniff for Ministry of mayhem! and of course they did do the gameshow Den of Doom, where they sit kids into a large cooking pot for their tea!

But he came back for Wolf It. As well as Scratch and Sniff, they also did Sage and Onion (Leprechaun's) for Live and Kicking on CBBC. I shouldn't mention that channel on here should I.
